These koftas are seasoned with our Dutch Spices-Crème Onion marinade. This is a new marinade that will be an asset during the coming barbecue season.
Ingredients
- 80-100 gr Dutch Spices ginger & lime marinade (2002340)
- 1 kg chicken tenderloins
- 1 lime, sliced
- 4 spring onions, in strips
- 10 slices prosciutto
- Rosemary sprigs
- Skewers
Preparation
- Marinate the chicken tenderloins, spring onion strips and lime slices in the Dutch Spices ginger & lime marinade for about 3 hours.
- Thread the marinated chicken tenderloins onto the skewers and finish by using the tip of the skewer to pierce the stem of a sprig of rosemary.
- Tip: for an extra appetizing look strip most of the leaves off skewer-length sprigs of rosemary and use them as the skewers.
- Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each skewer.
- Present the Asian-inspired ginger-lime chicken skewers on an attractive tray or platter in your display counter.
- Consumers: To prevent the leafy tops of the rosemary sprigs from burning wrap them in aluminium foil. Cook the Asian-inspired ginger-lime chicken skewers on the barbecue for about 8 to 10 minutes.
