Dutch Spices is the number 1 in allergen management. Thédor van der Vleuten, general manager Dutch Spices, explained it was their goal to be the first to get the SimplyOK certification. The company succeeded the certification end 2018!
This certification will validate and amplify the position of Dutch Spices and to be an example in the food industry to improve the food chain.
From the food industry, according to Jurgen Schlösser, the wish is that for all allergens including cross contamination, there will be a method stated by law.
From the (allergic) consumer perspective, quantitative determination is desirable, according to Sabine Schnadt.
