Saté sauce without peanuts: THE hit of Gastvrij Rotterdam
Exhibitors and visitors indulged their senses to the full during the Gastvrij Rotterdam hospitality exhibition held in Rotterdam Ahoy from 18 to 20 September. Visitors to the Dutch Spices area in the QSTA stand were able to enjoy a number of exceptional seasonings. The amazing flavour experiences that made the greatest lasting impression on the tasters were two Thai cuisine-inspired meal sauces - Dutch Spices Thai Red Curry Sauce and Dutch Spices Thai Green Curry Sauce and the peanut-free Dutch Spices Tasty Saté Sauce.
Saté sauce without peanuts
Peanuts, which add both flavour and bite, are a key ingredient of a ‘regular’ saté sauce. Because peanuts are one of the 14 legally-designated allergens, Dutch Spices does not use them as an ingredient in any shape or form. Instead, Dutch Spices has developed a range of peanut-free saté sauces that includes the Dutch Spices Tasty Saté Sauce.
Allergen-save products
More and more companies and consumers are opting for products that contain less or absolutely no allergens such as peanuts. Dutch Spices’ peanut-free saté sauce is, therefore, also a boon for companies that do not want any peanuts in their end products or production location so they can offer dishes that are peanut-free. At Gastvrij Rotterdam part of the hall was set up as a Gluten-free Market. Gluten-free is also totally in keeping with current thinking in which conscious nutrition and allergen-safe choices in food are becoming increasingly relevant.
